We have filled our open positions with two new team members however as we are growing we may well be recruiting again in the near future

Typically we look for team members with the following qualities:

  • Good telephone manner
  • Good attention to detail
  • Enjoy communicating with people

People who want to build skills in Office, for example Word, PowerPoint and Excel will find a position with eph secretarial services will more than meet their needs.

We also would like to hear from Virtual Assistants who are looking for additional work.

You will require a reasonable typing speed however we can teach the other skills because, as an equal opportunities employer, we are looking for the best person for the role.

For example if you are starting out on a career, returning to work or are keen to develop your skills and experience this will be an ideal opportunity for you. No two days are the same and no two jobs are the same. You will learn a lot in a short space of time with the support of an experienced team.

One minute you could be answering the telephone to someone who requires empathy and patience, the next you could be setting out a complex table in Excel. But don’t worry if you have not done this before as you will be surrounded by people with many skills who can help you and will want you to succeed. The secretarial position is based at our head office, just outside Reading town centre (RG1 8EQ).

Attention to detail is important as our clients rely on us for all their telephone answering and secretarial services, which could be as simple as recording a call but could be taking an order, sending a quotation or helping their prospects to select products.
